Methanol/Alcohol/Water injection, commonly referred to as "meth", allows you to make tremendous amounts of power on pump gas. The effect is similar to running 104 octane all the time, with additional cooling benefits allowing for more power than you could ever make on race gas alone. The methanol tank installs in the trunk and the fluid line is routed either through the interior or under the car to the engine bay. We offer a variety of tanks for your convenience but the 2.3g tank is considered the easiest to install and offers the best capacity. Depending on how often you race the car around expect to refill it every couple of weeks with methanol, denatured alcohol, or boost juice.
Regardless of which tank you choose we've selected the 220psi methanol pump for its superior atomization and flow characteristics relative to less expensive 160psi pumps. This kit also features a high speed solenoid for precise control and a CM10 super atomizing injection nozzle perfectly sized for the 380-440whp range.
All kits integrate with the JB4 tuning system using the included FSB controller which allows for precise methanol solenoid mapping based on boost, throttle position, RPM, air intake temperature, advance, and other data elements available to the JB4 through its CANbus system. In addition the FSB feeds back an independent signal with pump loading and flow information allowing for safe and smooth progressive boost mapping. If the tank runs empty or flow drops for any reason the JB4 will safely back down performance to avoid knock. In addition methanol can be activated or disabled from the drivers seat and displayed in dash using your steering wheel control menu.
The kits include everything needed for install except for a methanol bung. You can add on a new charge pipe with a methanol bung pre-installed.
As standard the kit we supply is the 1 gallon tank with a CM5 nozzle, if you would prefer a different spec tank or nozzle please let us know by messaging us.
